Principal Engineer, AI Productivity

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and hands-on technical leader, the full-time remote Principal Engineer, AI Productivity will define and drive internal agentic AI capabilities, focusing on automating decision-making systems to enhance R&D productivity while collaborating across Engineering, Security, and IT.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evangelize the AI strategy, aligning business metrics with engineering needs
• Lead the delivery of core agentic workflows to improve productivity across engineering teams
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities responsibly and at scale

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in strategic productivity initiatives, preferably in SaaS/Cloud platforms or developer tools
• Expertise in building distributed systems and infrastructure to support them
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms, including LLM integration and workflow automation
• Strong understanding of responsible AI practices and governance
