Principal Engineer - AI Security

Job Summary

To advance AI security capabilities, the full-time remote Principal Engineer, AI Security will design and implement scalable AI security controls, modernize the software development lifecycle, and drive technical leadership across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable controls for AI-enabled development and operations
• Partner with teams to evolve the software development lifecycle for AI integration
• Prototype and implement AI-enabled approaches for detection engineering and security operations automation

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Product Security, or related technical disciplines
• Deep familiarity with LLMs, AI-assisted development, and AI-enabled workflows
• Experience securing AI-enabled applications or platforms in production
• Strong background in cloud-native architectures, APIs, and security automation
• Builder mentality with strong systems-thinking capability and pragmatic execution style
