Principal Engineer, AI Systems

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Generative & Agentic AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build intelligent, autonomous systems to enhance customer experiences in a regulated fintech environment
• Prototype and scale emerging frameworks for production deployment in real-world financial systems
• Collaborate across teams to identify high-impact use cases and deliver resilient, secure intelligent systems

Required Qualifications

• BS and MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; PhD in AI, ML, or related domain preferred
• 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years with Large Language Models and generative AI systems
• Deep expertise in backend systems and distributed architecture; proficiency in Python required
• Experience with agent frameworks, cloud-native development, and MLOps pipelines
• Exceptional ability to mentor and influence cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments
