Principal Engineer - Data Infrastructure

Job Summary

As a key technical leader, the full-time remote Principal Engineer - Data Infrastructure will architect high-performance data platforms, solve complex technical challenges, and mentor engineering teams to drive innovation in an AI-first environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect complex systems and make critical technical decisions
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence across teams
• Align technical strategies with business goals through cross-functional collaboration

Required qualifications:

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of production-level experience building highly scalable systems
• 6+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting
• 4+ years of experience with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table data sets
• Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems
