Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer for Embedded Systems, this full-time hybrid position will lead the development of advanced embedded systems, focusing on FPGA-based processing and embedded Linux environments, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in the architectural design, development, integration, and testing of complex embedded systems utilizing Xilinx FPGAs and Embedded Linux
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish standards, best practices, and design patterns
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, serving as a subject matter expert
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 6+ years of experience in embedded systems development
- Experience with Xilinx FPGAs, including Vivado, VHDL or Verilog
- Strong proficiency in Embedded Linux, including kernel configuration and device driver development
- Proficiency in C/C++ with a solid understanding of memory management and data structures
