Principal Engineer in AI Security

Job Summary

Defining and leading the strategy for defending against AI-powered threats, the full-time Principal Engineer in AI Security will protect the enterprise by developing scalable solutions against adversarial AI capabilities and integrating security measures across the organization while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise strategies for defending against AI-enabled threats and establish security patterns for safe AI consumption
• Lead the development of detection and response mechanisms for AI-driven attacks and partner with Cyber Defense teams to operationalize these solutions
• Conduct research on emerging AI threat capabilities and continuously evaluate modern security technologies to address evolving risks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in defining and executing enterprise security strategy
• Deep knowledge of modern threats, attack techniques, and detection engineering
• Demonstrated ability to influence both technical and executive stakeholders
