Principal Engineer Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer - Platform Engineering/Site Reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud solutions on AWS using Infrastructure as Code
• Implement and support Kubernetes-based platform solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
• Develop automation for CI/CD pipelines and provide mentorship on best practices in infrastructure management

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud & platform engineering or related roles
• Expert-level proficiency with AWS cloud services and infrastructure architecture
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, including EKS, and experience with service mesh technologies
• Advanced programming skills in GoLang and Python for automation and tooling
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or relevant experience; AWS certifications preferred
