Principal Engineer, Public Cloud

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Public Cloud / R&D Core.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the design and architecture of complex, large-scale cloud services for multi-cloud and hybrid data management
• Bridge engineering and stakeholders to translate business requirements into engineering tasks and architectural blueprints
• Provide technical authority and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring adherence to best practices and production standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years; or a PhD with 4+ years
• Extensive experience in building and scaling robust distributed systems
• Expertise in Java and a deep understanding of the JVM
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization
• Strong background in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related technologies
