Principal Engineer, Risk Assessment

Job Summary

To support a growing Risk Analysis team, the remote Principal Engineer, Risk Assessment will perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments for nuclear power plant systems, lead global project teams, and interface with customers and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for complex nuclear power plant systems, evaluating vulnerabilities to various risks and hazards
• Lead global project teams by contributing to technical scope execution and ensuring schedule and financial objectives are met
• Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies while mentoring early-career engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
• 10+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 7 years in PRA Model development for nuclear plants
• Advanced degree and/or Professional Engineer license is a plus
• Knowledge of PWR reactor operations and various types of PRAs
• Proficiency with PRA software (CAFTA, RiskSpectrum) and peer review experience preferred
