Principal Engineer (Scala)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer (Scala) to define and drive high-leverage architecture for Scala/Java systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Ten or more years of software engineering experience with backend/distributed systems
• Deep expertise in building large-scale systems using Scala and Java
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-team technical initiatives
• Strong operational ownership for critical systems with a focus on reliability improvements
