Principal Engineer Seismic Integration

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Seismic CSA Integration and Oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of seismic design and licensing strategies for advanced nuclear reactor projects
• Perform technical reviews of seismic analysis and coordinate multi-system analyses
• Ensure compliance with licensing and code requirements while monitoring subcontractor performance

Required Qualifications

• M.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field
• 12+ years of experience in civil/structural design and probabilistic risk assessment
• Experience with new nuclear power plant design projects and risk-informed methodologies
• Hands-on experience with structural design for seismic loads and external hazards
• Knowledge of commercial and nuclear standards, as well as NRC or DOE regulations
