Principal Engineer - Systems

Job Summary

As a fully remote opportunity, the Principal Engineer - Systems will oversee engineering delivery pipelines, partner with product teams to develop roadmaps, and ensure operational health for technologies that support over 90,000 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and architectural decisions for core customer service and internal business platforms
• Design and implement scalable solutions that span frontend and backend services
• Mentor senior technical talent and drive the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance customer experience

Required qualifications

• 11+ years of software and infrastructure engineering experience with proven technical leadership
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure) and modern web technologies
• Experience designing distributed systems and scalable architectures
• Strong ability to bridge frontend and backend technical domains
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
