Principal Engineer, Systems Engineering

Job Summary

To enhance program execution and support continuous improvement, the full-time hybrid Principal Engineer, Systems Engineering will define, document, and improve Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SETC) processes and metrics while collaborating with engineering leaders and program teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Define, document, deploy, and continuously improve SETC execution processes and workflows
• Develop and sustain meaningful metrics and leading indicators to support organizational objectives
• Analyze SETC execution data to identify trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Systems Engineering within a program environment
• Proven track record in defining and improving engineering processes
• Experience in developing metrics, including operational definitions and reporting approaches
• Ability to analyze and interpret performance data for leadership insights and decision-making
