Job Summary

Leading engineering excellence in a full-time remote capacity, the Principal Engineering Manager will oversee solution architecture, drive AI and product innovation, and establish engineering standards while influencing hiring and training processes across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Set performance standards for engineering teams and coach managers to enhance leadership capabilities
• Own solution architecture decisions and establish strategies for AI-augmented development across projects
• Lead technical discovery and proposal strategies for key client engagements, acting as a subject-matter expert

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering experience with proven influence across multiple teams
• Expertise in WordPress architecture and the ability to make end-to-end decisions
• Experience in defining organizational standards, hiring frameworks, and training systems
• Strong client-facing skills with a background in driving AI and product innovation
• Ability to be accountable for business outcomes, including profitability and quality metrics
