Principal Enterprise Architect

Job Summary

Guiding the enterprise application strategy, the full-time remote Principal Enterprise Architect will define architectural standards, oversee modernization initiatives, and ensure alignment with long-term business objectives while reducing technical debt.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the enterprise architecture vision, standards, and target-state roadmaps
• Serve as the final authority for architectural decisions and complex design evaluations
• Guide implementation of strategic initiatives across core enterprise systems and modern cloud platforms

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (equivalent experience/certifications considered)
• 15+ years in progressive technology roles such as software engineering or enterprise architecture
• Proven track record of establishing architectural standards and multi-year roadmaps
• Deep expertise in modern integration patterns, APIs, and cloud technologies
• Significant experience with core insurance functional areas and platforms is strongly preferred
