Principal Enterprise Architect

Job Summary

To build a foundational enterprise architecture practice, the full-time Principal Enterprise Architect will govern a technology portfolio, establish architecture principles, and leverage AI for portfolio analysis while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and define the enterprise architecture practice, including operating models and standards catalog
• Manage the application portfolio, driving consolidation of redundant tools and classifying applications by lifecycle status
• Implement SaaS governance and cost control, partnering with Procurement and Finance to maximize savings

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture with ownership of application portfolios
• Proven track record in application rationalization and SaaS cost reduction
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, including TOGAF and lifecycle governance
• Experience with build-vs-buy evaluations and total-cost-of-ownership analysis
• Working knowledge of AI governance concepts and experience using AI tools for portfolio analysis
