Principal Enterprise Architect

Job Summary

To establish the enterprise architecture practice within Enterprise Data & Architecture, the full-time remote Principal Enterprise Architect will define target-state architecture across business domains, lead technology rationalization efforts, and guide architectural decisions for regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target-state enterprise systems and data architecture across major business domains
• Lead the discovery and rationalization of function-level and shadow IT stacks, proposing a phased roadmap for a coherent enterprise landscape
• Design and govern architecture patterns for regulated multi-environment operations, ensuring compliance and effective data management

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture or senior architecture roles across multiple business domains
• Demonstrated experience shaping enterprise technology landscapes, including applications, data platforms, and integration patterns
• Experience in regulated, security-sensitive environments with architectural constraints around sensitive data handling
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and architectural trade-offs in hybrid or multi-environment architectures
• Ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and infrastructure leaders
