Job Summary
Driving Cloudflare's adoption within defense agencies, the full-time remote Principal Federal Account Executive will develop strategic account plans, manage complex sales cycles, and establish relationships with DoD IT leaders to achieve revenue targets.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within DoD agencies
- Build and execute comprehensive account and territory plans to meet revenue goals
- Navigate federal procurement processes and manage complex, multi-year sales cycles
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience selling IT solutions to the Department of Defense, specifically COCOM, STRATCOM, and TRANSCOM
- Deep understanding of DoD procurement processes and contract vehicles
- Experience closing multi-million-dollar deals in long federal sales cycles
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity mandates and Zero Trust Architecture
- Ability to engage with technical stakeholders, including CIOs and CISOs
