Principal Financial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Financial Analyst who is adept at financial modeling and has a solid grasp of credit card or bank economics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of annual operating budgets and quarterly rolling forecasts aligned with corporate strategy
• Independently resolve complex modeling problems and conduct ROI and NPV analysis on business initiatives
• Act as a functional specialist on collaborative projects, providing technical expertise to assess financial impacts

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic analytics, or investment banking within the credit card or banking industry
• High proficiency in modeling GAAP financial statements and analyzing performance variance
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) with a focus on automation and process improvement
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• A track record of building rigorous analytics and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
