Principal Firmware Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Firmware Engineer (Embedded Linux Team).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide firmware projects, driving innovation and providing technical expertise
• Develop, program, review, and test firmware, products, and electronics
• Mentor team members and lead cross-functional teams to define project goals and requirements

Required Qualifications

• At least 15 years of relevant professional experience in Embedded Linux
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Rust
• Experience with custom Yocto built systems, WindRiver Linux, and Ubuntu Core
• Familiarity with development tools including Docker, git, and CMake
• Knowledge of associated technologies such as secure boot, OTA schemes, and cybersecurity
