Principal Firmware Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Firmware Engineer to lead firmware projects and provide technical expertise in embedded systems development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, program, review, and test firmware and electronic products
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and lead cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• At least 15 years of experience in embedded systems development
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Rust, and Assembly
• Experience with various operating systems including Bare-metal, FreeRTOS, and Linux
• Familiarity with multiple protocols and drivers like UART, I2C, and BLE
• Knowledge of development tools including IDEs, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
