Principal Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Leading technical strategy and architecture for enterprise AI deployments, the full-time Principal Forward Deployed Engineer will serve as a trusted advisor for customers, translating AI initiatives into scalable solutions while collaborating with Product and Engineering teams in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead customer discovery sessions to define AI, data, integration, and governance requirements
- Architect end-to-end AI solutions, including data connectivity and security controls
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across engagements
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect or Technical Lead
- Proven success in delivering production AI applications and enterprise SaaS solutions
- Strong knowledge of LLMs, AI agents, and AI governance
- Experience with SQL, APIs, ETL/ELT, and enterprise data integration
- Expertise in designing secure, multi-tenant architectures with RBAC and OAuth 2.1
