Principal Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Leading technical discovery workshops, the remote full-time Principal Forward Deployed Engineer will engage with customer architects and data leaders to map data sources and define AI deployment criteria.
Key responsibilities
- Run technical discovery workshops with customer architects, data leaders, and AI teams
- Own the scoping for AI deployments, establishing acceptance criteria for agent accuracy and data governance
- Translate complex AI and data concepts into architecture proposals for CxO-level stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Principal Software Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Tech Lead in a data platform, AI, or SaaS environment
- Strong customer-facing experience
- Experience with MCP, RBAC, Oauth, and RAG
