Principal Forward Deployment Engineer
Job Summary
As a remote Principal Forward Deployment Engineer, the successful candidate will lead high-stakes customer engagements by translating AI ambitions into production architectures, managing technical and business value outcomes, and growing a team capable of delivering scalable and secure AI deployments.
Key responsibilities
- Run technical discovery workshops and own scoping for AI deployments with clear acceptance criteria
- Translate complex AI and data concepts into architecture proposals for CxO-level stakeholders
- Design solutions across various AI sources and architect agent orchestration for production environments
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of engineering or technical delivery experience, including 2+ years managing customer-facing engineers
- 7+ years as a Solutions Architect, Principal SE, or similar role in a data platform, AI, or enterprise SaaS company
- Proven track record of building and shipping production AI applications
- Strong AI/ML literacy, including knowledge of LLM capabilities and agent architectures
- Experience with modern data stacks and hands-on enterprise data integration
