Job Summary
Owning the end-to-end strategy for authentication and device trust, the full-time Principal Fraud Strategist will design layered defenses against fraud across web and mobile platforms, focusing on adversarial threat intelligence and risk decisioning architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Architect layered perimeter defenses to combat account takeover and scam interception while converting live campaign telemetry into policy changes
- Own device trust discipline, including device identification, behavioral biometrics, and signal development to address gaps in vendor coverage
- Orchestrate vendor stack integration and performance tuning to enhance authentication and device trust capabilities
Required qualifications
- BA/BS in Statistics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent work experience, with 15+ years in Fraud Strategy or related areas
- Proven track record in reducing account takeover and scam losses across various financial surfaces
- Hands-on experience with device intelligence platforms and a strong understanding of device fingerprinting and behavioral biometrics
- Expert-level SQL/Python skills for building automated data architectures and statistical models
- Ability to balance fraud mitigation with user experience, ensuring controls remain unobtrusive for legitimate users
