Principal Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Full Stack Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of web and mobile applications, focusing on backend development with Ruby on Rails
• Drive improvements in system architecture and performance through leadership in code reviews and design sessions
• Collaborate with product teams to define project timelines and guide complex design and architectural decisions

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in full-stack software development in a multi-service ecosystem
• Experience as the most senior engineer on a mid-sized engineering team in a Ruby on Rails and React environment
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL for building flexible data models
• Expertise in AWS services (ECS, RDS, S3, etc.) and Azure services
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science or a relevant field is preferred
