Principal Hardware Test Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Hardware Test Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, test, and validate Android-based devices and peripherals for reliability and compatibility
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues including over-voltage failures and connectivity problems
• Develop structured test plans and identify root causes of hardware failures, recommending improvements

Required Qualifications

• Background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or similar
• 10+ years of experience in testing, validating, or troubleshooting hardware devices
• Strong understanding of power systems and electrical failure modes
• Experience diagnosing connectivity issues with various interfaces
• Ability to design and execute structured hardware test plans
