Job Summary
Providing expert guidance on federal hiring processes, the full-time Principal Human Capital Advisor will support personnel impacted by MOC-A relocation, manage performance frameworks, and oversee personnel action tracking while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Offer expert counseling on federal hiring, FMLA, workers compensation, and benefits
- Lead hiring initiatives and standardize Position Descriptions (PDs)
- Manage performance management frameworks and analyze agency manpower requirements
Required qualifications
- Prior experience with NOAA
- Ability to travel up to four times per year to OMAO facilities or leadership meetings
- Expertise in personnel action tracking systems
- Experience in managing performance management systems
- Knowledge of federal hiring processes and related regulations
