Principal I/O Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal I/O Engineer to design and optimize enterprise scale infrastructure platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and provide technical leadership for enterprise scale infrastructure platforms across cloud and on-prem environments
• Serve as Service Level Owner (SLO) for assigned platforms, ensuring availability, reliability, performance, and SLA adherence
• Drive operational excellence, including automation strategy, monitoring standards, and compliance with security and lifecycle management

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of Azure administration experience across various platforms and tools
• 3+ years of experience administering virtualized environments
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools for workflow automation in an enterprise environment
• Expertise in Windows and Linux systems administration, maintenance, and security
