Principal IAM Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Cloud IAM Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, design, and long-term direction of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program
• Architect solutions for human and non-human identity management, cloud authorization, and secrets management
• Lead cross-functional alignment and mentor engineers in IAM practices and architectural decisions

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud security or IAM, with at least 3 years in a senior or architect-level role
• Proven experience with AWS IAM, Okta, and federation protocols such as SAML and OAuth2
• Fluency in Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and CI/CD pipeline integration
• Hands-on experience with AI and agentic identity management
• A risk mitigation mindset and ability to engage with Risk and GRC teams effectively
