Principal I&C Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Instrumentation & Controls Engineer at the Principal level.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce precise engineering deliverables, including drawings and calculations, that meet industry standards
• Develop engineering documents that exceed client and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage in field activities to ensure project success

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, or government projects
• Preferred qualifications include Nuclear Engineering Change and 10CFR50.59 Screen and/or Evaluation qualifications
• Knowledge of digital hardware and software components in digital I&C systems
• Experience in the design, installation, and testing of large-scale digital control systems at power plants
