Principal Incident Commander

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Incident Commander - Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct SREs and other leaders to restore service during Major Incidents while maintaining accurate incident progress updates
• Develop and evolve the Incident Management practice, utilizing metrics for global process improvements
• Lead Post Incident Review meetings and document information to enhance process improvement and create an Incident Knowledge Base

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Extensive experience with incident management in a cloud-based environment
• Broad knowledge of cloud infrastructure and related technologies (AWS/Azure, databases, etc.)
• Strong leadership skills to manage service teams during high-pressure incidents
• Experience with ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.)
