Principal Industrial Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Industrial Designer to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive product launches by collaborating with cross-functional teams and conducting supplier visits
• Lead strategic planning and ideation for the product portfolio while partnering with the Marketing team for design asset delivery
• Research emerging digital tools and applications to enhance productivity within the Industrial Design team

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a design field
• 12+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams on product development
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Proficiency in CAD software (Rhino, Pro-E, SolidWorks) and 3D rendering programs (Keyshot or similar)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and design for manufacturing (DFM)
