Principal Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Information Security Engineer to oversee cybersecurity operations and defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Build and maintain detection content in Splunk Enterprise to identify threats and policy violations
• Lead incident response efforts and conduct proactive threat hunting across various environments

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security engineering
• Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise and CrowdStrike for security operations
• Experience using Wiz or similar tools for cloud security visibility
• Strong background in incident response and vulnerability management
• Experience supporting SOC 2 and PCI compliance efforts
