Principal Infrastructure Architect

Job Summary

Driving the future of cloud infrastructure, the full-time remote Principal Infrastructure Architect will define and own hardware architectures for next-generation compute environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support evolving technology needs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own hardware architectures for CPU, GPU, Storage, and Infrastructure platforms
• Serve as the primary technical stakeholder for infrastructure technologies, partnering with subject matter experts in product and hardware engineering
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging technologies and mentor engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in server architecture, storage architecture, or infrastructure engineering
• Deep expertise in server and storage hardware platforms, including knowledge of AI/ML hardware roadmaps
• Experience with emerging hardware approaches such as CXL memory pooling and disaggregated storage
• Demonstrated ability to lead proof-of-concept initiatives and scale successful pilots
• Strong collaboration skills with technical and business teams, as well as external vendors
