Principal Infrastructure Architect

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of infrastructure architecture strategies, the contract-to-hire Principal Infrastructure Architect will work remotely to partner with cross-functional teams, drive modernization initiatives, and establish governance and standards for scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the enterprise infrastructure architecture strategy, including assessments and roadmaps
• Lead modernization initiatives focused on cloud adoption, automation, and simplification to enhance operational efficiency
• Establish architecture governance and standards to ensure consistency, resiliency, and security across environments

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure domains, including cloud, hybrid, networking, compute, storage, and security
• Proven ability to translate strategy into architecture standards and scalable solutions
• Experience with cloud and hybrid architectures emphasizing scalability and cost optimization
• Hands-on knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
