Principal Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to lead infrastructure design and optimization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve infrastructure for high availability and performance across network and systems
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex production issues and drive improvements in service delivery
• Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to standardize operations and enhance reliability

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with expertise in network and systems engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience supporting production environments in on-premises datacenters
• Strong hands-on expertise in Linux administration and automation using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies is preferred
