Principal Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on designing and deploying secure production systems, the full-time remote Principal Infrastructure Engineer will manage end-to-end infrastructure outcomes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance security practices across cloud-native and edge appliance deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, iterate, and deploy secure production systems across various environments
• Advise cross-functional teams on infrastructure, security, and deployment best practices
• Own infrastructure outcomes for critical programs and initiatives, ensuring reliability and security

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in production infrastructure roles such as DevOps, Platform, or SRE
• Full-stack engineering experience with modern backend languages (e.g., Go, Python, Rust, TypeScript)
• Deep production experience with Kubernetes, including operators, networking, and multi-cluster operations
• Expertise with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure) and strong design instincts across profiles
• Strong fundamentals in application and infrastructure security, including identity and network segmentation
