Principal Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing infrastructure team, the full-time Principal Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure solutions while collaborating with technical architects and mentoring team members in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with business goals, ensuring optimal performance and availability
• Analyze technical requirements for products and determine optimal hosting configurations in hybrid environments
• Lead infrastructure projects and mentor team members, promoting modern IT practices and compliance with organizational standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• 10 years of technical experience in enterprise server, storage, or cloud environments, with at least two years in a senior or principal role
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise compute systems, storage arrays, and cloud platforms
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Proven ability to lead and mentor infrastructure engineers and administrators
