Principal Institutional Research Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Institutional Research Analyst to support institutional research and student success initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, manage, and analyze complex institutional data to support data-informed decision-making
• Automate workflows and develop dashboards and reports while providing training and technical support
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with governance standards, leading the preparation of external compliance reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or Education (advanced degree preferred)
• Several years of experience in data-focused roles
• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and R
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as FERPA and GDPR is a plus
