Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal, Insurance & Climate Resilience for its Climate Finance Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and expand the insurance and disaster resilience strategy, identifying opportunities for real-world resilience outcomes
• Design and oversee multi-year initiatives related to insurance, resilience, and physical risk
• Serve as a senior external representative, engaging with insurance executives, regulators, and investors to drive partnerships and funding

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in the insurance industry (carrier, reinsurer, broker, etc.)
• Demonstrated expertise in natural catastrophe risk and pre-disaster risk mitigation
• Strong understanding of insurance regulation, particularly in the U.S., with global exposure preferred
• Proven experience operating at a strategic and senior level, including external representation
• Solid people management experience, including leading teams and complex work streams
