Job Summary

Owning the strategy and execution of comprehensive internal communications, the full-time salaried Principal Internal Communications will serve as the senior-most expert in the organization, advising leadership and managing communications across various channels for a remote team of 300 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement ActBlue's internal communications strategy, defining KPIs and success metrics
• Create high-impact content for executive messages, all-staff meetings, and the internal newsletter while setting standards for communication channels
• Advise Executive Leadership Team members on sensitive organizational matters and prepare them for internal communications events

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive communications experience, particularly in large-scale internal communication programs
• Proven track record of advising Executive-level leaders on high-stakes organizational matters
• Exceptional writing and content development skills with a portfolio demonstrating strategic communications
• Strong understanding of how communications impact employee engagement and organizational culture
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in communication practices
