Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal, Investment Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead transaction execution for tax equity and preferred equity investments, including negotiations with sponsors, investors, and external advisors
  • Prepare and present investment opportunities to the Investment Committee, highlighting economics, structural terms, risks, and mitigants
  • Oversee and review financial models developed by team members and provide guidance on assumptions, sensitivities, and risk cases
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA, JD, or advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in renewable energy, structured finance, or infrastructure investing, with direct experience leading tax equity transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate transaction documents (partnership flips, T-flips, preferred equity structures; sale-leaseback a plus)
  • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to review/analyze complex partnership models
  • FINRA SIE, Series 79 and 63 required or willingness to obtain under the company's broker-dealer sponsorship
