Principal IT Assurance Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Principal IT Assurance Analyst will assess and develop governance processes for IT policies and standards, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive inventory and assessment of existing BTS policies and standards
• Review, update, and draft policies and standards aligned to regulatory and contractual requirements
• Define and document a standardized BTS policy lifecycle process, including governance structures and roles

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in IT governance, risk, compliance, or policy management
• Experience working with regulatory and control frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX, etc.)
• Strong policy writing and technical documentation skills
• Deep understanding of IT governance and control frameworks
