Principal IT Security Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal IT Security Architect who will shape the enterprise security strategy and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Define complex security architectures for mergers and acquisitions
• Analyze regulatory changes impacting security architecture and communicate necessary updates
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to cybersecurity teams and business stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 12 years of progressive IT experience with 5+ years as a security architect or in a related role
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as DoD STIG, FedRAMP, or similar
• Demonstrated enterprise-level expertise in core cybersecurity domains
• Knowledge of information security regulations and frameworks like PCI, HIPAA/HITECH, and NIST
