Principal IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership in a remote capacity, the full-time Principal IT Systems Engineer will design, implement, and evolve enterprise infrastructure and cloud services while ensuring system scalability, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical roadmap for infrastructure, cloud services, and systems operations
• Architect and implement secure, scalable, and highly available hybrid and multi-cloud solutions
• Lead cross-functional projects and serve as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex infrastructure challenges

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure architecture, or cloud engineering
• Deep expertise in Linux/Unix systems administration and infrastructure operations
• Strong proficiency with scripting and automation technologies such as Shell/Bash or Python
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and authentication technologies
