Principal Java Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Java Developer II - Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive complex security initiatives from conception to delivery, defining technical strategy and execution
• Provide technical mentorship and foster a culture of security awareness within the engineering team
• Act as a principal voice in architectural discussions, guiding security posture and development practices across the organization

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in Core Java, including JVM memory management and high-performance coding
• Experience building scalable authorization systems and understanding RBAC/ABAC models
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems security, including secure transport and node-to-node trust
• Familiarity with identity and access management protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and SAML
• Experience collaborating across teams to integrate security features into product development
