Principal Learning Designer

Job Summary

Leading the design of high-impact instructional content, the full-time remote Principal Learning Designer will manage collaborative projects, mentor teams, and drive innovation in digital learning while ensuring quality and effectiveness in educational solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the design of high-quality instructional content in collaboration with product, research, and engineering teams
• Maintain subject matter expertise in learning science and instructional design, mentoring peers and guiding best practices
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and feedback while leading innovation initiatives in digital learning experiences

Required qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in learning sciences, education, instructional design, or related field, or commensurate experience
• 7 or more years of experience in instructional design or a related field
• Expertise in instructional design principles and learning science
• Experience presenting at and participating in external councils and convenings
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools
