Principal Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Machine Learning Engineer, ML Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy and drive a multi-quarter roadmap for ML platform capabilities
• Own cross-team architecture decisions and design reviews for ML lifecycle and inference
• Build and operate core ML platform components, including lifecycle foundation and model serving

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
• 4+ years of experience owning ML systems end-to-end in production
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and ML lifecycle tooling like MLflow
• Proven technical leadership with experience in setting direction and delivering roadmaps
• Experience evaluating managed ML platforms and making build-vs-buy decisions
