Principal Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Principal Machine Learning Engineer will tackle complex problems by creating scalable machine learning systems and platforms, collaborating closely with business partners and cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences and automate core business processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with the Data Platform team to exchange best practices and simplify machine learning processes
• Develop horizontal solutions to robustly scale machine learning models and processes
• Research and prototype new technologies to support business growth and improve platform capabilities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in applied machine learning or machine learning systems/infrastructure
• Strong coding experience in languages such as Java, C#, or Python
• Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or BigQuery
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern software development practices
